Suntrix founding signatory to new Code of Conduct
26 November 2013
Suntrix was announced as a founding signatory to the Clean Energy Council (CEC) Solar PV Retailer Code of Conduct, which was launched by Federal Environment Minister Greg Hunt in Canberra on the 20th November 2013.
The solar industry is well regulated, with all systems needing to meet Australian standards and be installed by a specially trained and accredited solar installer. This code is another important step that provides consumers with even greater confidence, and the ability to select a retailer who guarantees a high level of customer service.
The CEC thanked the founding signatories to the code, which included Suntrix, for their dedication to lifting the standards of customer service across the sector.

Why is the new code of conduct important?
This code gives consumers the ability to distinguish best practice retailers in the PV market. Retailers displaying this logo deliver confidence that consumers will receive a quality product, adhere to all relevant consumer protection laws, and be prepared to back the operation of their PV system for a minimum five-year period.
This new code of conduct is one more step in helping to make a positive difference in lifting the reputation and sustainability of the solar PV industry.
